Qatar Birds is a comprehensive digital platform operated by the Qatar Bird Observation Group (QBOG), bringing together bird observers, researchers, photographers, and conservation enthusiasts with a shared interest in documenting the avifauna of Qatar. The platform provides accurate and up-to-date information about wild bird species recorded across the country, supported by the Qatar Birds Records Committee (QBRC), which serves as the scientific authority responsible for reviewing and maintaining official bird records. The website also encourages observers and researchers to submit field observations and records, contributing to a continuously updated and reliable reference that supports local and international bird conservation efforts.
